Payment Policies

Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients needs and customer service, we do not bill or offer private payment plans.  

Monroe Road Animal Hospital offers a Senior Citizen Discount for our clients over 65 years of age, as well as a Military Discount for our active military clients. Please let our receptionists know if you qualify for one of the discounts so we can code you properly. 

We accept debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Pet Insurance, cash and personal checks. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. All checks are processed through Cross Check so a valid driver’s license is required. We do not take two party or business checks, nor do we hold checks. 

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expenses strike as well. Monroe Road Animal Hospital understands this and offers Care Credit. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments with a third party. While we are happy to help fill out any pet insurance forms for you, you will need to be reimbursed by your insurance company. Payment direct to the clinic is still required at the time of service.

Deposits are required for hospitalized and surgical patients. Balances are due in full upon pick up.
