Since 1985, Monroe Road Animal Hospital has a long history of providing excellent, quality veterinary care in the Charlotte, NC area. We take pride in our commitment to the animal and the owner, as well as our compassionate approach to veterinary medicine and client relations. We honor the human-animal bond and are dedicated to supporting owners in their relationships with their pets. Client education is an important facet of this commitment and is a priority within the practice.
Monroe Road Animal Hospital works closely with several specialists in the area to provide our clients with a referral system for specialty veterinary medical and surgical care. In addition, we work with several local animal assistance groups including: The SPCA, Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control, The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police K9 Unit and various licensed wildlife rehabilitators. We take pride in our commitment to the community and to these animals in need.

At Monroe Road Animal Hospital, the doctors and staff combine excellence in veterinary medicine with compassion and caring. The doctors, technical staff, animal care team, receptionists and administration are committed to honoring the human animal bond. We strive to form a relationship with both pet and owner based on kindness and respect.
As pet owners ourselves we are committed to attending each patient as a member of a family. We understand that many of our patients are frightened or apprehensive. Our goal is to ensure that visits are as stress free as possible. Each patient is treated with respect, kindness, and the utmost regard for the importance of each individual.
As a full service hospital, we care for many sick and injured pets. We also embrace the importance of preventative care. We offer education and programs designed to lessen the risk of disease such as vaccinations, routine check-ups, heartworm prevention, spays and neuters and dental prophylaxis. we also provide a wealth of technical and general knowledge.
